Naznet Forbids Me To Read Its Code Of Christian Ethics

J. Grant Swank, Jr.

The Internet provides the Code of Ethics subscribed to by Christian web sites, NazNet being one of them.

But when I try to get into that site to read the NazNet Christian Code of Ethics, I am forbidden.

“Forbidden” in large bold letters is in the left hand corner of my screen. All I want to do is read NazNet's agreement to live by the Christian ethics code; however, I cannot get to that segment.

What does NazNet have to hide? Why are the owners and moderators keeping me from reading their commitment?

As far as I can reason, NazNet knows it is not living up to that Christian code of ethics for it describes itself as a “friend” to the Church of the Nazarene while cutting right through the Nazarene doctrinal fundamentals.

The Church of the Nazarene preaches biblical truth from Genesis to Revelation. NazNet posts moderators' statements that they do not believe in the Bible or doubt parts of the Bible as being divinely inspired.

Further, NazNet touts heresies as reported in NAZNET DISTORTS where they can be researched in exceptional detail: http://naznetdistorts.blogspot.com/

With that, what comes through loud and clear to me is that since I have exposed NazNet to world readers via the Internet, I am not privy to their unethical standing as related to the Christian ethics code on cyberspace.

These readers include headquarters' personnel at the denominational offices in Kansas City as well as spiritual leadership on the South Texas District where moderator Scott Cundiff, Pastor, Alvin Texas Church, preaches one thing while posting heresies on NazNet.

In addition, faculty and administration at the Nazarene Theological Seminary, Kansas City, MO, and Nazarene Bible College, Colorado Springs, CO have been informed of these heresies on NazNet. Moreover, countless district superintendents throughout the world church have received this data.

With this particular post, it is my hope that these persons will read the Christian Code of Ethics as related to NazNet and posted on the Internet. In that, they will see the huge ethical gap between NazNet and the code.

Read NazNet.com's Christian Internet Code of Ethics” at http://freechristiancontent.org/NazNet.coms_Christian_Internet_Code_of_Ethics.htm

Also, For more information visit the
Christian Internet Code of Ethics home page. I am forbidden to reach this site because NazNet has cut me off from reaching it.

I receive this message:

“Forbidden

“You don't have permission to access /ethics/ on this server.”

The Priests - Their Story

From time to time, music seems to take a decided style change, with listeners demanding music that allows them to get back to the basics. This certainly seems to be the case now as three priests have recently signed a recording deal with music legend Sony BMG. The deal is expected to be worth one million pounds. The group has indicated all proceeds from the album will go to charity.

The group; aptly named The Priests, hail from Northern Island. With musical tastes that are said to be quite Catholic, the group's debut album, due out in November, is much awaited by music fans who have been desirous of more spiritually based music and found the offerings to date lacking.

The Priests' album, which the group has already begun to record, is expected to include traditional hymns such as Ave Maria as well as various opera classics and portions of the Latin Mass.

Fathers Martin O'Hagan, his brother Eugene, and David Delargy comprise the group. Father Eugene O'Hagan presides over the Parish of Ballyclare and Ballygowan while his brother Martin presides over the Parish of Cushendun. Father David Delargy presides over the Parish of Hannahstown.

All three are old friends and first began to hone their musical abilities during attendance at St. MacNissi's College in County Antrim. During their time there, the three earned the nickname 'Holy Holy Holy' due to their shared dream of becoming priests.

Upon their departure from St. MacNissi's, the group continued vocational training at The Seminary in Belfast. Here, Father Eugene took the opportunity to specialise in Scholastic Philosophy and English. Father Martin as well as Father David specialized in Scholastic Philosophy and Ancient History. All three priests studied under Mr. Frank Capper at this time. Their vocational training was concluded at Irish College in Rome, where they were awarded with tuition for their singing. It was during this time that the rare talent of their combined voices was first recognized. The Pope's private secretary invited the group to sing for the Pope.

As a result of the record contract, the group will be able to bring their love of singing to a much broader audience. Their singing style will not change as their group has always performed sacred music. This new opportunity will certainly provide them with the opportunity to share their faith and love of music with many more people.

Initially, the group appeared to have been surprised by the interest posed by BMG in their signing. Their surprise was certainly not without warrant, as The Priests are paving new ground as there have previously been no instances of priests who have gone on to professionally record music

Determined not to depart from their calling, the group's contract contains a special clause that will allow them to take breaks from promotional activities in order to meet pastoral responsibilities. All three have indicated that first and foremost, they will remain priests and continue in their dedication to serving specialized ministries within their parishes. Those with interest in Christian music should certainly take a listen.

The Importance of Scholarships

The importance of scholarship varies from family to family. There are certain students who would never get the chance to go to college, if it weren't for scholarships. Scholarships change the direction of a person's life. The statistics back up the importance of a scholarship. A person with a college degree on average makes a million dollars more in their lifetime than people without a degree. So, putting in the time to obtain scholarships is extremely important.

Christian Colleges: Things To Consider

When you are getting ready to apply to Christian colleges, it is important to make sure that you are looking at all of your options. This way, you will be sure to find the best place for your education and it will be a place that you will not regret attending. One of the most important things to consider is whether or not you are selecting a top rated school. There are many reasons to make sure that the school of your choice is a top rated one. This will ensure that you are going to receive the best education possible and it will look so much better on your resume than a low rated school would.
Just to name a few of the schools that might interest you, there is Wheaton College, Bethel College, Evangel University, Azusa Pacific University, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Biola University and Judson College. These are not of course all of the Christian colleges out there, but they have certainly earned the recognition as some of the top Christian colleges.
Of course, when it comes to applying to some of these top rated colleges, the issue of money might pop into your head. Just how much do these Christian colleges cost? Before you even take a look at the cold hard facts regarding the tuition price, it is important to remember that there are many ways you can help ensure that you can afford to go to the Christian college of your choice. There are grants, scholarships and loans that can help you make it through your college years. You might even be surprised to learn that you qualify for financial aid.
Remember, the actual cost of attending a top rated Christian school will be dependant on the cost of that school and the degree you are planning on getting. There are in fact many things that will come into play when the final cost is figured out. The financial office at the college will be able to walk you through just how much it is going to cost you. Will it be more than a poorly rated standard college? Surely it will be. But the question should not be whether you can afford to attend a Christian college, but rather, can you afford not to?
As you can see, there are a lot of things to take into consideration. When you are considering college, it is important to make sure that you are looking over all of your options and that you are researching each and every one. This is the only way to make sure that you are going to get the education you need and deserve.

Online Faith-Based MBA Program: Enrollment

There are as many advantages to enrolling in an online program as there are to a faith-based program. An online program offers conveniences like the accessibility of important documents and the ability to attend classes from anywhere, at any hour of the day or night. A faith-based program grounds the student in their walk with Jesus Christ as they grow in knowledge and devotion to God, plus the ability to socialize in a safe, welcoming environment. Combining these programs yields an incredible experience, capable of transforming students' lives in very positive ways.
Students have many questions about online faith-based programs, but the most common one is: How will an online degree help them in ‘the real world'?  Degrees earned online or on-campus help people in many ways, including providing proof of drive and determination. Online faith-based MBA programs surpass undergraduate degrees in terms of demonstrating an individual's motivation. The commitment to obtaining a higher education shows prospective employers an individual's commitment to excellence.
Since there are many students interested in seeking careers in business, MBA programs are very popular. Over two hundred fifty thousand students are involved in MBA programs.  Some of the most popular online faith-based MBA programs are offered at schools like Liberty University and other well-known Christian colleges that have Internet-based curricula. The question most students have about these programs is how can they enroll? What are the steps they need to take in order to get accepted into these schools?

Christian Colleges Provide A Great Place To Learn

The major difference between Christian colleges and other colleges is the ability to grow in both faith and knowledge. Christian colleges provide a place to learn more about an area of study and faith. Christian colleges are a great option, for students looking to explore their faith. Christian colleges accept students from the most devoted Christians, to people who are trying to better their connection with God. Everyone goes through a spiritual journey. Dorothy L Sayers - Lord Peter Wimsey, Gaudy Night (1935) - Part 1

Part 1: Gaudy Night (1935) is a mystery novel by Dorothy L. Sayers, the tenth in her popular series about aristocratic sleuth 'Lord Peter Wimsey', and the third featuring crime writer 'Harriet Vane'. The Plot: The dons of Harriet Vane's alma mater, Shrewsbury College (a thinly veiled take on Sayers' own Somerville College), have invited her back to attend the much anticipated annual 'Gaudy' celebrations. However, the mood soon turns sour when a malicious lunatic begins defacing the all-female establishment with obscene graffiti, as well as destroying important manuscripts, sending dark messages to several people and crafting vile effigies. Desperate to avoid a possible murder on campus, Harriet asks her old friend Wimsey to investigate. "Gaudy" derives from the Latin gaudium and Old French gaudie, meaning "merry-making" or "enjoyment". A college gaudy is a dinner; in this case an annual reunion one. The phrase "gaudy night" is taken from Shakespeare's Antony & Cleopatra: Dorothy L. Sayers (1893-1957) Dorothy Leigh Sayers (1893-1957) was a renowned English crime writer, poet, playwright, essayist, translator and Christian humanist. She was also a student of classical and modern languags. She is best known for her mysteries, a series of novels and short stories set between World War I and World War II that feature English aristocrat and amateur sleuth Lord Peter Wimsey. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This Production: Lord ...

Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer - Biola University Chapel

Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer speaks at Biola University on March 3, 2008 as part of the Centennial Chapel Series. Passionately pursuing Gods will and wisdom - those words best describe the life of Dr. Kenneth C. Ulmer. Dr. Ulmer serves as the senior pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, California. Under Dr. Ulmers steady leadership, Faithful Central Bible Church has grown from 350 people to more than 13000 since he arrived in 1982. Through a series of miraculous events, the Lord made it possible for Faithful Central to purchase the Great Western Forum, which has allowed the church to easily accommodate the incredible growth it has seen. Now, Dr. Ulmer and Faithful Central Bible Church are ready to go forth as Champions who are ready for divine deployment. Dr. Ulmer envisions Faithful Central as a conduit of Gods love and power as it reaches out to Los Angeles and makes an eternal impact across the globe. In looking back over Dr. Ulmers life, its easy to see that he has always had a passion for realizing and obeying Gods will for his life - to go along with an inexhaustible thirst for the knowledge and wisdom of God. In his eyes, though, his greatest success and satisfaction has come as the husband of his wife, Togetta, and the father of their three children - daughters RoShaun and Keniya, and son Kendan. In addition, he has two sons-in-law and three beautiful granddaughters. Dr. Ulmer and Togetta have been married for nearly 30 years and currently reside in ...

Dennett vs McGrath - Part 2 of 9

This is a debate at the Royal Institution in London between philosopher Daniel C Dennett and professor of theology Alister McGrath. The debate is on the ideas presented in Dennett's book Breaking the Spell, such as the concept of the meme and the evolution of religion. The debate is moderated by Madeleine Bunting. Daniel Clement Dennett (born March 28, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts) is a prominent American philosopher whose research centers on philosophy of mind, philosophy of science and philosophy of biology, particularly as those fields relate to evolutionary biology and cognitive science. He is currently the co-director of the Center for Cognitive Studies, the Austin B. Fletcher Professor of Philosophy, and a University Professor at Tufts University. Dennett is also a noted atheist and advocate of the Brights movement. en.wikipedia.org Alister Edgar McGrath (born 23 January 1953) is a Christian theologian, who holds both a DPhil (in molecular biophysics) and an earned Doctor of Divinity degree from Oxford. He is noted for his work in historical, systematic and scientific theology. In his writing and public speaking, he promotes "scientific theology" and opposes antireligionism. McGrath was until recently Professor of Historical Theology at the University of Oxford, but has now taken up the chair of Theology, Religion and Culture at King's College London since September 2008. Until 2005, he was principal of Wycliffe Hall. en.wikipedia.org

Knoxville Rally, May 26, 2007

Produced by spiritwaterblood.com A rally in Knoxville, TN, to force the media to report on the brutal rape and murder of two White college students is disrupted by circus freaks and drag queens who used the occasion to denounce "racism," which apparently means the desire that justice be served. When Alex Linder crossed a police boundary to mock these fools he was tackled and arrested, with injuries, but notice in the video that the clowns trespass the area that the "racists" had to be frisked to enter, and yet they are not arrested. The hundreds of local, state, and federal police (and their attack dogs) at this event outnumbered the demonstrators 10 to 1, and almost all of them were gathered on one side only. Politicians are terrified that Whites will take the law into their own hands. Indeed, the message of the rally was that if decent black folks do not take control of the crime epidemic in their own community, Whites will, and not through the legal injustice system. Linda Scott - I've Told Every Little Star

PLEASE NOTE: I divided my uploads between multiple channels, Bookmark this link in your browser for instant access to an index with links to all of John1948's oldies classics. LINK: tinyurl.com Born in Queens, New York, Scott was still in school in New Jersey (Teaneck High School Class of '63) when she auditioned for Arthur Godfrey's CBS radio show in 1959. After having won a place on the show, Scott and other young performers became regular guests on the show. During the show's run, the young singer came to the attention of Epic Records, and Scott made her recording debut (singing as Linda Sampson) with the single, "In-Between Teen". Though still in high school, in 1961 she signed with Canadian-American Records, which had struck gold with the Santo & Johnny's "Sleep Walk". The label changed her performing name to Linda Scott, producing and releasing the hit "I've Told Every Little Star," a standard written by Oscar Hammerstein II and Jerome Kern for their 1932 production Music In The Air. The track sold over one million copies, earning Scott a gold disc. Scott's three biggest hits came in that first year, with "I've Told Every Little Star" (US #3), "I Don't Know Why" (US #12), and "Don't Bet Money, Honey" (US #9). The first two were standards, while the third was one of Scott's own compositions. Scott was the showcase artist when Canadian-American started a subsidiary label, Congress Records, in 1962, and in fact both labels released new material of hers simultaneously ...
