My Uncle Sam, who is my Mom's younger brother (41) was killed by a hit & run driver. We just got the news. Our hearts are so unbelieveably heavy but are comforted in the fact that he was a Christian. I am a Christian. I believe in God and a life after death. I am grateful for the fact that the Detective said that my uncle left us in a blink of an eye. God was good to spare him from suffering. I wish God had allowed something else rather than this. I would just hope that I will understand the purpose of this someday. Until then, I will mourn and cry, I will spend some time with family and reminisce of the wonderful times we had with my uncle. I will leave for California in the morning and I will be gone for a couple of weeks. As time allows, I will come to read your sweet words! I know that you will be there for me with your support, prayers & love because all of you, each and every one of you are amazing!!! In that respect, I am so blessed! Thank you for your support!
